This is a video about formatting a book of poetry in MS Word - this is the basic stuff, but the next video is about advanced typographic design to make your poetry book amazing (and make marketing easy...) You should check that out too - /> ⚡☕⚡✍☕✍⚡☕⚡ Hey there - I'm Derek Murphy. I'm a fine artist who became a book cover designer, then started writing young adult scifi and fantasy. I've spent almost 20 years living abroad, have a PhD in comparative literature (revolutionary politics in Paradise Lost), and have been featured in CNN for renting castles to use as writing retreats. Although I'm not working with clients anymore, I've built a ton of resources to help indie authors write, design and publish bestselling books. On this channel, I talk about writing, publishing and creating personal freedom with unconventional business strategies and providing value. My videos are unpolished and a little raw, because we travel full-time and I focus on content, not production quality. Hey Derek, this is a nice attempt. Quite important aspect for those starting up. However, it seems to be all over the place. In true form of the caption of this video, perhaps you could have settled on actually designing a few pages in different styles... not just showing how to make those styles only to skip to another. It might be hard for beginners to follow with all the flipping and flopping on the screen.
