We need to get Rated R Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles movie
When I was in High School, there was this substitute teacher we had that used to work for Disney (I don't know why he stopped), and he could sketch incredible drawings in under a few minutes. One day, he told us a story about how he went to school with a guy who was obsessed with drawing comic books. One day he told our teacher he had come up with this idea for a comic and that our teacher should buy it from him because he knew it would make him famous. My teacher thought the concept was ridiculous, so he declined. That man's idea was the original TNMT comic, and our substitute teacher regrets his decision to this day.

Wondering why you didn't show any clips from the Nick series!!!
As someone that grew up on the original 1987 cartoon (I was 5 when the five-part mini-series premiered in December 1987), I initially didn't want to give the 2003 series a chance, because it wasn't my childhood. But I inadvertently watched one episode of the 2003 series and later, fished out an old TMNT comic I had and realized the 2003 cartoon was a more close representation of the original 1984 graphic novels. I then gave it a chance and will now proudly stand behind that the 2003 series is far better than the 1987 series (which, honestly, hasn't aged well). To top it off, I later got the 25th Anniversary Volume 1 (issues 1-11, plus the four one-shots and Fugitoid issue) as well as Volume 3 (Return to New York) and Volumes 4-5 (City at War). Even though #1 was where it started, City at War will forever be my favorite story arc. It's 13 issues for cryin' out loud!

Wha? No Archie TMNT Adventures entries?

I''ve read all turtles comics and people need to check out "The secret history of the foot clan". This arc got me back into comics.
Tmnt movie 1990 will always be the best
Meme Iselfaneye
If you like TMNT at all, you owe it to yourself to read the IDW TMNT. It's by far the best version of the material to date, the lightheartedness of the cartoons, mixed with the maturity of the originals. All the best bits of TMNT lore distilled to perfection. Secret History of the Foot Clan is one of the single best, and best looking, TMNT arcs of all time. For anyone interested, here's the reading order:
Hey random people scrolling down the comments😉

I enjoyed the TMNT series that Archie Comics published. Not many people remember them though...
Tarlo The Boar
The 2003 show is Closest to the Comics but I'll admit The 2012 show is my Favourite! And yes I agree with you about The Old Times Comic
I like the Archie Comics particular: the Invasion arc, the crossover with the short-lived Mighty Mutanimals spin-off where they battled the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, and the story arcs involving the future Turtles. I just with the Forever War arc teased in what ended up being the final issue had actually been finished & published......
Kikach 38117
An episode in which Mikey's cat dies was just devastating, it should totally be on this list...
Arch Aile Strike
Can you do a Sonic archie comic top 10 list ?

They forgot to include the Donatello one shot (a tribute to Jack "King" Kirby), TMNT #15 (The Justice Force), and the issue that introduced the Super Turtles.

Do top 10 shrek comics to read
Victor Bejarano
You missed the Return to New York story arc, specially the 3rd. part
"United We Stand, Divided We Fall" from the Archie Comics TMNT Adventures series should've been included. The Mighty Mutanimals, the 4 Horsemen..... great story.
Surprised they didn't put the tmnt and batman crossover...
Gabriel R. Johnson
To serve and to Protect would be perfect for Christopher Nolan to direct make a trilogy out that comic.
Leonardo #1 Best issue of TMNT of ALL TIME
And the crosdover with ghostbusters?
Mega melon Baez
Suprised the new TMNT was't here...
Not a single one from the Archie comics run?
Derek Mason
Good list. But you should've included Archie and Image TMNT comics also
Gustavo B
What, no Tales of The Fugitoid??? (even though it was made before the TMNT even existed).
Who else noticed that the Nickelodeon TMNT TV series is based on the TMNT comics.
Jamal Morris
They need to bring the comic book teenage mutant ninja turtles to the big screen.
Gabriel R. Johnson
Can you imagine Christopher Nolan creates a brand new trilogy. And using the same cinematography as the dark knight. A chase scene having the turtles trying to save April from the foor and shredder along with the foot are destroying New York. Could you imagine what he can do. How emotional it would be.
Mainstreamer Channel 99
Not a single clip from Turtles Forever, including the ending.
demented doom
Seriously only one IDW comic?! That series is blindingly good, so why the neglect?
I am sorbitol, Maltitol, xylitol, mannitol, Calcium
We should get an R-rated TMNT movie with a crazy feminist as the villain.
lewis perez
Wow... disappointed.. at least you honorably mentioned bodycount .... but you neglected to talk about Shell Shock or my favorite story... Souls Winter...

Ayyy lmao
Am I the only one that loves 2003 AND 2012?! I also ADORE THE Batman crossover. I prefer the 2012 origin of the turtles, too...
Usagi Miyamoto have his own comic created by Stan Sakai and yet he still doesn't have his own cartoon series... seriously wtf?
TazeMeBro McCleskey
Didn't Rafael get his arm cut off in one of the comics/ That would be note worthy.
Blue Katana

Top 10 Teen Titans comics you should read!!!
guts on the mic
David Case
Now Donnie knows how Jason Todd feels when Joker tortured him with a crowbar.
Johnathan Holmes
Usagi Yojimbo and Leo are my favorite best friends in Comic Book. A samurai rabbit and a ninja turtle shouldn't get along, but they did.
The Death of Splinter in volume 4 was a good read.
Donnie :"( ... why ? Why you ? Why not Shredder ? The team missing you Donnie.
Jammin' Jotaro
Cowabùnga Um... no it isn't. The 2012 series is it's own standalone series just like the other two. Though it does impress me by containing tidbits from all TMNT lore while still being it's own unique show.
Mario, The Nintendo Mascot
And now they're in Injustice..
tpup tpup
Honestly, the entirety of Usagi Yojimbo is amazing, and I think everyone should read it
Danny D's World
List needs more IDW tbh.
The Avryon Show

You should read 'Black and Blue' amazing TMNT comic.
Emily Brown

The Savage Dragon meet The TMNT.
David Case
Shredder, Joker, Megatron, Green Goblin, Red Skull, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, Thanos, Darkseid, Lex Luthor, Raoul Silva, Deathstroke, Doctor Doom, Ra's Al Ghul, Bane, and Vandal Savage all have came back from the dead every single fictional story because they're the type of villains who either aren't so easily killed or don't stay dead for a while!
I remember that I had the trisaritop comic but I um lost it and I know I spelled something wrong
Blew 1
Do this for Transformers Comics next please! Marvel and IDW anyway, Dreamwave and Bayformers...not so much!
No TMNT vol. 4 issue 10, the death of Splinter?
Trafalgar Law34
Honestly I didn't think the Tmnt comics would be so dark
